Full description of the position
Responsibilities * Maximize sales coverage in the Territory * Understand landscape of existing customers, potential customers, and sales organizations operating in the Territory * Fill sales gaps in potential, currently empty geography within the Territory that meet our criteria * Prioritize HVAC Distributors that offer the highest opportunity to significantly grow IAQ * Develop relationships with Senior Sales Management at target Regional Distributors * Call on existing customers, potential customers, and organizations to support products, services and sales * Conduct product/sales training for Distributors and Contractors * Develop and implement Action Plans with targeted distributors * Identify Target HVAC Contractors in Territory * Make joint or independent sales calls on target HVAC Contractors * Present Business Proposition and Secure Participation * Support the Contractor's Business Development * Build network of Certified HVAC Contractors in the Territory Education Preferred * Bachelors or better in Engineering or related field * Bachelors or better in Business Administration or related field Licenses & Certifications Preferred * Carnegie Sales Skills Preferred * Sales * Microsoft Office * Consulting Behaviors Required * Enthusiastic: Shows intense and eager enjoyment and interest Preferred * Dedicated: Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrity * Team Player: Works well as a member of a group * Leader: Inspires teammates to follow them * Functional Expert: Considered a thought leader on a subject Motivations Required * Ability to Make an Impact: Inspired to perform well by the ability to contribute to the success of a project or the organization Preferred * Goal Completion: Inspired to perform well by the completion of tasks * Growth Opportunities: Inspired to perform well by the chance to take on more responsibility * Self-Starter: Inspired to perform without outside help * Financial: Inspired to perform well by monetary reimbursement Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
