Full description of the position
Brandt is currently looking to fill Territory Manager - Utility Trailer positions for the Indianapolis, Indiana area. Reporting to the US Sales Director Trailers , the Territory Manager - Utility Trailers is responsible for achieving sales budget in the assigned product lines, and for supporting the product-line success of an assigned team of territory managers and dealers. The Territory Manager will create and expand relationships with existing and new customers/dealers by directing and supporting collaborative sales efforts to grow one or more assigned product lines. This position will lead the launch of new assigned products in a defined geographical area. In collaboration with the field sales team and dealers the specialist will assist and train on qualified opportunities for both customer sales and dealer development. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Supports the success of an assigned team of territory managers and dealers. * Help launch and build a dealer network for Brandt's lineup of utility trailers. * Coordinate sales through Brandt's heavy haul trailer dealer network where there is a good fit for that market * Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines. * Provides coaching, training, and professional development to territory managers in order to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills. * Lead demand-generating marketing activities in the assigned market for the assigned product specialty. * Establish productive, professional relationships with key producers Required Skills * Background in trailer, construction or heavy truck sales experience * Degree or diploma in Business considered a strong asset * The ability to perform to the highest degree energy with minimal supervisionBrandt Group of Companies
