Full description of the position

Position Objective This position is responsible for the overall performance of the assigned US region including but not limited to profitability, improvements, service, facility management, employee supervision, and equipment and fleet management. Provide direction, leadership, and support for Jack Doheny Company's operations staff to encompass all aspects of the distribution model while continually exceeding internal and external customer expectations and supporting a world-class sales operation. Be the liaison between the corporate office and operating units on service objectives, strategic opportunities and after-sales, document processing, inventory, and accounting related issues. Job Responsibilities: Revenue and Market: * Proactively set the agenda and engagement with regional sales team, Business Development, Training and Sales to regularly travel in the assigned market to drive market activity * Directly establish revenue generating retail service opportunities with both existing and new customer markets * Enhance product and service offering and establish necessary operations support needs for all initiatives * Meet or exceed percentage contribution to JDC projection model for revenues including parts, service, sales, and rentals * Assume and be accountable for JDC's brand reputation regarding all aspects of service and parts the geographic region * Steadily and continuously drive profitable growth of JDC desired market share * Establish Business Developments and support initiatives for the locations including branch expansions, mergers and acquisitions Service: * Establish and Lead a sense of urgency within the facility to provide "Best-In-Class" service in a timely manner as defined by the marketplace * Establish and maintain a proactive, ongoing and engaged dialogue with Regional Sales Manager and Inside Sales to ensure equipment prep, service and parts transactions are accurate and meet customer expectations * Monitor and insure internal and external work orders are handled in a timely and accurate manner * Assess and assign tactical prioritization of shop workload - while actively managing efficient use of labor hours * Ensure daily labor postings/parts postings/job costing is timely and accurate Facility Management: * Ensuring facility compliance in assigned locations with all applicable Federal, State and Local codes and laws including environmental compliance (s ) * Provide timely capital request with attendant justification (ROI) * Establish and maintain a clean shop floor and efficiently organized workflow to maximize productivity and insure a safe work environment for employees and visitors * Ensure facilities and grounds maintenance is adequate, consistent and cost effective * Stock and monitor adequate shop tools and supplies * Sourcing/securing pricing contracts with shop vendors Personnel: * Ensure safe operations with rigorous enforcement of safety procedures and training while maintaining a heightened awareness of potential safety issues and risk * Manage proper staffing levels relative to workload, safety needs and labor hours to revenue relationship * Maintain current and accurate job descriptions for all direct reports * Working with HR, administer and document corrective and progressive discipline as required * Set high performance goals for self and others, providing active coaching and counseling to insure achievement Equipment: * Ensure all vehicle preparations and deliveries are coordinated with Regional Sales Manager, Inside Sales and customers * Provide on-going customer technical support for safe operation and service diagnostics * Allocate customer service call efficiently amongst staff Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, Engineering, or other industry-related field required; MBA preferred. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Strong supervisory and leadership skills. * Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
