Full description of the position
Account Manager Main Objective: Manage the promotional product sales cycle for existing clients and create organic growth with existing contacts to maximize sales. *General Duties & Responsibilities: * Manage existing client accounts and increase sales and gross profit margins in cooperation with our Sales and Leadership Teams by: * Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients * Proactively identifying opportunities for sales and fostering communication * Presenting creative product + service solutions * Presenting cross-sell and up-sell ideas to clients * Dealing with objections and assisting in closing sales * Managing the sales order writing and client confirmation process * Following up with clients, post-delivery * Providing best-in-class customer service * Accountable for client satisfaction and for providing outstanding service * Manage daily CRM activities, keeping notes and processes 100% up to date * Manage follow-ups and activities to meet client needs and imposed deadlines * Develop product proposals and PowerPoint deck presentations for sales support and proactive outreach * Support workload and throughput of overall Account Manager team * Sourcing and quoting apparel and hard goods in the ASI industry * Responsible for keeping delivery commitments in a timely manner and for resolving issues * promptly * Support in expanding sales with existing clients by introducing additional solutions and services * Meet or exceed established sales and gross profit margin goals * Contribute to market strategy by monitoring new products and client projects * Train and support other team members, with potential to lead other account managers * Setup, plan and merchandise Company and Pop-up store programs for clients * Provide program reporting and recommendations, as necessary * Manage current client inventory programs for enterprise-level clients New Client Development * Develop and maintain new client relationships * Develop relationships in specific industry categories * Create 2 spec samples per week * Create 5 virtual samples per week * Work with Preferred Suppliers to create marketing collateral for specific industries Qualifications: * Ability to effectively communicate and build and maintain relationships with clients at the executive level and the junior management level * Displays ownership and accountability across managed projects * Outstanding written and oral presentation and communication skills * Detail-oriented with an eye for accuracy * Ability to multi-task and work quickly under pressure * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Ability to identify organizational issues and set priorities * High-level of responsiveness to customer needs to meet critical deadlines * Strong sense of urgency * Caring, ability and willingness to consistently go above-and-beyond to exceed client expectations * Strong belief in a systematic and structured approach to selling that includes the use of CRM technology to manage your daily routine and be proactive * Tech savvy with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Photoshop * Ability to learn and embrace new technology * A self-motivated, friendly, positive and energetic candidate will be successful in this role * Team player who works well with others * Experience in the ASI / PPAI industry is highly desired * Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $50,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Schedule: * Monday to Friday Work Location: Hybrid remote in Waukesha, WI 5318614 West
