Email all resumes or questions to John Britt (President) at [please apply online]- [please apply online] JOB DESCRIPTION Reports to: Vice President of Sales Summary Description: Covers all sales functions in assigned territory. Forecasts, solicits, and secures orders from potential and existing customers. Ensures customer satisfaction relative to product quality, quantity, and timely delivery. Works closely with Operations to support sales/deliveries and company goals. Sales area location: Territory North of Interstate 64 Essential Functions: * Secures orders from existing and potential customers by means of visiting customer facilities. * Prepares formal and informal quotes to existing and new customers ensuring company profitability and sales objectives. Supervisor signature sign-off on all quotes is required. * Follows up on quotations submitted to customers. * Establishes professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel (purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, management, and/or other key personnel). * Interfaces with dispatcher to communicate customer requirements and delivery of products. * Seeks and develops new customers to achieve sales objectives. * Interfaces with clients to ensure satisfaction of products and services. Entertains as necessary and in accordance with policies and procedures. * Submits expense reports to Office Manager on a weekly/monthly basis. * Handles all customer concerns in a positive manner to both the customer and the company. * Maintains confidentiality of all customer and company financial, personnel, and corporate data both internally and externally. * Maintains outstanding attendance to ensure responsibilities are achieved and to serve as a role model to company personnel. Position requires extra hours, occasional overnight travel, and weekend/holiday efforts. * Position requires extensive travel by truck and/or auto; works/drives is all weather conditions; some air travel required; walks customer production/warehouse spaces, including stairs on a frequent basis; extensive phone/computer work, ability to observe work of others. * Perform additional functions as necessary. Education/Experience Required/Preferred: Experience in outside sales/production in warehouse distribution is REQUIRED. Must possess average interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written. Must be detail oriented and self motivated. Must be able and willing to operate Microsoft Office Products and Pallet Track software.
