Outside Sales Representative Details Location: Signal Hill, CA Territory: Southern California Job Description As an Outside Sales Representative for Matt & Nat Bakery, you will be responsible for driving sales, expanding our customer base, and promoting our wholesale bakery products to sectors such as healthcare, education, senior living, hotels, cafes and corporate campuses. This is a dynamic and rewarding position that requires self-motivation, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the bakery industry. Key Responsibilities * Prospect and identify new business opportunities within the foodservice sector * Establish and maintain relationships with executive chefs and buyers * Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets * Conduct in-person meetings, product tastings, and presentations to potential customers * Provide excellent customer service and resolve any issues or concerns promptly * Keep accurate records of all sales activities and customer contacts in ERP software * Stay updated on industry trends and market needs to offer relevant solutions * Collaborate with the production team to ensure product availability and timely deliveries to customers Qualifications * 3+ years of sales experience, ideally within the bakery industry or 5+ years of experience as a chef within the hospitality sector * Strong knowledge about Hospitality groups such as: Compass Group, Sodexo and Aramark * Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Self-motivated with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales goals * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle customers concerns professionally * Valid driver's license and clean driving record * Ability to pass and pre-employment screening and background check * Proficiency with Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Benefits * Competitive base salary with quarterly performance incentives * Paid time off (PTO) * Health insurance * Paid holidays * Company provided vehicle or reimbursement * Company provided phone and tablet * Opportunities for career growth and advancement within the company
