Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a retail environment, particularly in a grocery store setting. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring the store is well-stocked and organized. Your ability to communicate effectively and handle transactions accurately will contribute to a positive shopping experience for our customers. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs. * Operate cash registers efficiently and accurately, handling cash transactions with care. * Maintain knowledge of store products and promotions to provide informed recommendations to customers. * Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and organizing displays. * Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner. * Uphold store cleanliness standards by keeping the sales floor tidy and organized. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance overall customer satisfaction. Experience * Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store operations is preferred. * Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills is essential. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances communication with our clientele. * Proficient phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone is a plus. * Knowledge of retail math concepts will be beneficial in managing transactions effectively.
