Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Sales Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the Store Owner in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth. You will play a key role in leading the team, managing shifts, and maintaining a positive shopping environment for our customers. Duties - Supervise and lead a team of sales associates to achieve store goals and maintain high standards of customer service. - Assist in managing daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and visual displays. - Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction. - Implement effective shift management strategies to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak hours. - Utilize retail math skills to analyze sales data, track performance metrics, and make informed decisions. - Operate POS systems and cash registers efficiently while ensuring accurate transaction processing. - Assist in budgeting and financial planning activities to meet store objectives. - Train new staff members on company policies, procedures, and best practices in customer service. Requirements - Proven experience in a retail supervisory or leadership role is preferred. - For ease of operations, you must be located IN the city limits of the City of San Francisco and be familiar with public transportation. - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. - Proficiency in retail math concepts and experience with POS systems. - Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. - Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. - A positive attitude and a passion for delivering excellent service are essential for success in this role.
