Regional Sales Manager SUMMARY: The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for growing within an assigned territory through the promotion and sales of engineering technology products. This role supports sales growth through independent representatives, distributors, and direct engagement with OEM customers. The Regional Sales Manager will identify and target key accounts, develop and execute sales call plans, and provide technical guidance and training to customers and sales partners. Responsibilities also include forecasting, competitive analysis, and tracking new business opportunities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Analyze territory performance and market trends to develop strategic sales plans aligned with corporate goals. * Identify and target key OEM accounts to maximize market penetration and sales potential. * Manage and support independent sales representatives and distributors within the territory. * Deliver product presentations and technical training to customers, prospects, and sales partners. * Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activities within the CRM system. * Prepare regular reports for management on territory performance, pipeline development, and competitive landscape. * Provide annual sales forecasts and monitor progress toward goals. * Travel 50-75% within the assigned region, including overnight trips, to support customer engagement and business development. * Other duties as assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management--preferably in industrial, engineering, or OEM sectors. * Proven success in identifying new business opportunities and managing a sales pipeline. * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with customers and sales partners. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of delivering technical presentations. * Highly self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently. * Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. * Strong negotiation and closing skills.
