Additionally, we offer education, business consulting and other forms of support for today's licensed beauty professional. The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) requires a thorough knowledge of field sales. Employee is expected to have strong and effective leadership skills. The incumbent is expected to meet high standards of productivity improvements in field sales and effectively integrate field sales with broad marketing goals. This position requires initiative, a highly developed sense of responsibility, effective time management and a proven record of three or more years of success in field sales and/or management. The position exists for the purpose of dissemination of Sales Promotion ideas and development/concept planning, coordinating details involved as well as presenting and following through on such plans. The incumbent is to accomplish an increase in sales of the company's products beyond that which would be accomplished without promotion and to achieve all company sales goals and initiatives. What You 'll Do: * Proper management of team's opportunities, product launches and events, and required presentations monthly to ensure minimum expectations are met. * Detailing within assigned territory or with an assigned Sales Consultants a minimum of Tuesday through Thursday of each week. This represents 60% of your time. * Develop and maintain good business relationships with salons through periodic contacts. * Interview and hire applicants for vacant regions. * Fill the needs of open and vacant territories through servicing and other tools available. * Direct, train, and evaluate staff on all company programs, policies and procedures. * Demonstrate through growth plans and requests effective sales tools and strategies to deliver to market needs in order to grow sales. * Responsible for the on-going training, development and performance of assigned sales consultants to ensure optimum effectiveness in assigned responsibilities according to company policy. Ensuring yearly certification in all major product lines per Consultant. * Responsible for the introduction and success of new product lines to the market. * Thorough understanding of Market opportunity and existing Customer base. * Conduct continual competitive market research and relay pertinent findings to Director of Sales * Guarantee that sales consultants activities are completed by due dates according to the job description and responsibilities. * Maintain proper documentation of accurate territory lines is including zip codes for each consultant; reduce, change and add territories within the market is necessary. * Preserve and promote the Salon Services image in all trade relations and with all company personnel contacts and ensure that his/her team is doing the same. * Overviews and maintains standards within each sales consultant car of appropriate tools. * Conducts all Performance Reviews: 30/60/90 Day as well as annual on all Consultants. * Performance Development Meetings conducted with team member(s) every 4-8 weeks minimum. * Establishes Sales Goals per consultant per initiative (when requested) and holds them accountable to achievement of said goal. * The responsibility of servicing any and all chain accounts within region. * Hosting and attending educational opportunities, networking groups and VIP events continually throughout region. * All other duties as assigned Who You Are: * Thorough knowledge of field sales * Prior experience leading a team * Working knowledge of the beauty industry and the requirements of today's salons/spas * Persuasive and sincere communicator with team, management and customers * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Multi-tasking and strong attention to detail * Customer service oriented * Flexible schedule availability * Proficiency in Social Media * Proficiency in Microsoft Word - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint * Overnight travel to certain markets is a requirement. * Team-player with strong organizational and time-management skills * Reliable Transportation with a valid Driver's License and Insurance Pay range between $80K-$86,550 We believe that mental health is health, and every person should be considered in the discussion.
