Part-Time Liquor store Sales Associate. Work Hours: Flexible. Must be available on some Weekends. Job Description: * Provide friendly and positive customer service to all the visitors to the retail stores. * Perform accurate and timely cashier functions, including scanning and entering sales transactions, making change and handling cash. * Restock shelves and fill coolers with new merchandise * Assists customers in selection of various brands of liquors, wines, etc. * Perform required ID checks on customers and notifies management of violations, concerns, etc. * Keep your work area clean and sanitize. * Lifting and stocking of products up to 50lbs. * Clean floors and surfaces as needed. Qualifications: * Must be 21-year-old. * Education requirements include a high school or general education diploma. * Either have Bartender license or able to get one. * Have At least Minimum 1 year Experience in retail sales. * Experience in operating a cash register and making change. * Knowledge of the various brands and the common usage of liquors and merchandise sold in liquor stores. * Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude * Value collaboration and acting as a team player * Desire to develop retail service skills and knowledge of product and services * WSE, Sommelier, or other industry certification preferred Physical Requirements (with or without accommodations) * Walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8-10 hours a day * Climb ladders and lift 50 lbs. overhead and repeatedly The Bottle Shop of Grafton provided the following inclusive hiring information: We are an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants equally without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability status.
