Full description of the position

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Inside Sales Manager to lead our sales team in driving growth and customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in energy sales (solar), particularly in solar solutions, and possess exceptional leadership skills. This role requires a proactive approach to managing sales processes, developing strategies, and ensuring the highest level of customer service. Duties * Lead and motivate the inside sales team to achieve sales targets and enhance overall performance. * Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the energy market, with a focus on solar equipment sales. * Tracking sales activities, managing customer relationships, and reporting on team performance. * Support business development efforts to get results working directly with the Director and VP of Channel Sales, North America. * Collaborate to ensure alignment on goals and strategies. * Develop sales scripts, market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth. * Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development. Requirements * Proven experience in energy sales or solar sales is highly desirable (2 years of solar experience and knowledge is preferred). * Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software is preferred. * Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team in the future. * Excellent phone sales skills. Able to connect with people, follow a script, gain interest, and book appointments. * Self starter. Able to work alone and crush expectations even if no one is watching you. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply; proficiency in Spanish is a plus. * Experience in any type of sales...but especially solar sales is a huge plus. * Exceptional communication skills with a strong focus on appointment setting and commission based sales. * Ability to work collaboratively across departments to achieve company objectives.
