Summary of Position: Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the role of a Sales Administrator is to handle all incoming customer enquiries and assist the sales force with daily sales administration activities. Requires decision-making skills, communication abilities, attention to details and familiarity with constructions terminology are required. Duties & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): * Responsible for typing bids/proposals. * Ensure logging and tracking of all bids and follow up three (3) days after the bid is sent. * Responsible for receiving and executing all incoming requests for proposals. * Responsible for distributing RFP's to estimators and tracking bids to customers. * Ensure all customer information is logged into ACT as well as generating leads. * Respond to all customer enquiries. * Administrative support to sales management and estimators to help reach the team's objectives. * Responsible for taking sales calls and following up with customers when needed. * Responsible for adding to sales bid log and saving in client folder. * Responsible for following up on school district pre-equals. * Responsible for the weekly bid reports every Monday. * Communicate internally important feedback from customers. * Organize and maintain contact lists, and provide general support to visitors and act as the point of contact for internal sales force. * Work in a safe responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself or endanger the wellbeing of others. * Participate as a vital team member and contribute towards the success of the company. * Promote a team approach and maintain dialogue with all coworkers. Qualifications: * High School Diploma or G.E.D. required; AA or higher preferred. * Knowledge of office management systems and procedures as well as working knowledge of office equipment. * Proficiency in MS Office; including MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. * Attention to detail and problem solving skills. * Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines. * Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task. * Knowledge of ACT Database. * Team-player mindset with high level of dedication to raising the bar for the whole team. Working Qualifications: * Must be physically able to lift and carry at least 25 lbs. * Bend and/or reach and retrieve filing. * Overtime as required. * Must be able to communicate verbally, in writing, and through telephonic and electronic means. * Must be able utilize computer hardware and software and mobile technologies. * Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. * Must be able to sit for extended periods of time at a desk. * Must be able to occasionally stand; walk and stoop, kneel, or crouch. * Pass Pre-employment drug screening and maintain compliance with the company's drug and alcohol testing requirements. * Pass Pre-employment physical and medical evaluation. * Must comply with the company's Fleet Safety Management Policy & Accountability to Safety Code of Safe Practices. * Must comply with company's Discrimination & Harassment Prevention Policy & Correction Policy.
