We're hiring! MUST be able to work NIGHTS(2pm to 10pm) and WEEKENDS! We are looking for friendly, energetic, hard working and motivated individuals to join our team. This is a fast paced business and previous experience in a busy customer service environment and the ability to multi-task is required. * Part time positions available * Looking for individuals with availability for closing (12pm-close) and weekend shifts. Once Upon A Child is a locally owned retail store that buys and sells new and gently used children's clothing, toys, books, furniture and equipment. We offer gently used, brand name products at a great value! At Once Upon A Child, safety and product quality are our top priorities. Position Responsibilities: * Perform all store opening and closing procedures as assigned * Greet customers and determine their needs * Assist with buying, selling, pricing and merchandising * Process accurate and efficient sales and return transactions * Perform other related duties as required Qualifications: * Proven customer service skills and interpersonal skills * Computer literate and able to operate computerized sales terminals * Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends Physical Requirements: * Ability to stand and walk for lengthy periods * Lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted * Bending, rotating, and reaching in a retail environment Candidates must be out going with good verbal skills.
