Overview We are seeking a motivated and friendly Front Desk/Sales Agent to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding service while managing front desk operations efficiently. Responsibilities * Greet guests warmly upon arrival and check them in/out in a timely manner. * Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities. * Manage reservations and assist with upselling room types and additional services. * Process payments accurately using the POS system. * Maintain an organized front desk area, ensuring all materials are stocked and accessible. * Address guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary. * Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences. * Supervise front desk staff during shifts, providing guidance and support as needed. Experience * Previous experience in customer service or retail environments is preferred. * Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette. * Ability to perform retail math for transactions and upselling opportunities. * Experience with product demos or sales is a plus. * Familiarity with grocery store operations can be beneficial but is not required. * A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
