Job Summary: The Region Manager of Business Development (BD) is responsible for developing and executing strategies to achieve and exceed agency growth targets. This role will lead a dynamic sales team, ensuring the successful development and implementation of annual business growth strategies, sales, and marketing plans. The manager will foster strong relationships with referral sources, drive innovative selling strategies, and ensure that Hartford HealthCare at Home's services meet the needs of the community. The manager is responsible for supervising the execution of the Regional Business Development strategy, including supervising the members of the region sales team, establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources, responding to customer requests and concerns, and collaborating with the Region Executive Director and Clinical Director in coordination with the Manager/Director of Strategic Partnerships. Key areas of responsibility: * Oversees all daily BD operations, including providing direct supervision of the creation and execution of grassroots marketing campaigns. * Develops communication team huddles, coaching sessions, and giving/receiving feedback with BD leadership, intake staff, and peers. * Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of HHCAH markets, including government agencies, major payer groups, key referral sources, and competitor's market positioning. * Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with current and potential referral and payer sources. - Continuously conducts market assessments and develops a comprehensive marketing and sales plan designed to meet budgetary volume projections. - Provides leadership in strategic planning including identifying opportunities for additional or improved services to address customer needs. * Monitors and reports cost effectiveness of BD efforts. * Helps the Executive Director and the Manager/Director of Business Development and Strategy create the annual budgets for organization volume predictions and the BD department's expense allocations. Keeps track of the allocation of resources according to budgetary limitations. * Maintains/grows business relationships in assigned channel/territory that results in growth in profitable business opportunities for win/win outcomes, cross-selling the full portfolio of services offered at Hartford HealthCare at Home with effective results and value-based interactions to meet and/or exceed measurable outcomes. * Supervises the utilization of customer relationship software for documentation of team sales activities and analysis of customer utilization data to plan strategic account interactions. * Works with the Director of Clinical Services to establish marketing techniques for specialty clinical programs. * Employs marketing and promotional initiatives to achieve budgetary volume projections in partnership with the HHC Director of Communications and Planning. * Recruits, supports selection of orients, and directly supervises members of the Regional BD team. * Builds and monitors community, customer, and payer and patient perceptions of HHCAH as a high-quality provider of services. * Maintains comprehensive working knowledge in the field of marketing and shares information with appropriate organization personnel. * Perform other related duties as required Qualifications Qualifications requirements: Required Education: Associate's degree in marketing, Business Administration. Preferred - Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field. Required Experience: 3 years' experience in sales or marketing. Preferred - At least three years of experience in healthcare Business Development, preferably in home health or hospice care operations. Language Skills - Demonstrates effective communication skills, negotiation skills, and public relations skills. Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements- Ability to lead, supervise and direct sales and administrative personnel. We take great care of careers.
