You will also assist in maintaining the sales floor, ensuring that products are well-stocked and displayed attractively. Duties * Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately using POS systems. * Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns. * Assist with product demonstrations to enhance customer experience and promote sales. * Engage in upselling techniques to increase overall sales and enhance customer satisfaction. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and sales floor. * Stock shelves with merchandise, ensuring products are well-displayed and easily accessible to customers. * Perform retail math calculations for discounts, returns, and exchanges as needed. * Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment. Skills * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. * Experience in retail sales, preferably in a grocery store or similar environment. * Familiarity with cash register operations and POS systems. * Basic knowledge of retail math for accurate transaction processing. * Ability to engage customers through product demos and upselling strategies. * Attention to detail in stocking products and maintaining store appearance. * A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and assisting customers.
