Architectural Masonry Sales Representative Job Details Salary * 50-70k per year + Commission + Benefits Job Type * Full-time * In person Masonry Sales Representative: THE BRICKYARD, INC. is a leading distributor of brick, cultured stone, pavers, retaining walls and other structural construction products in the Milwaukee area, providing local homeowners and construction professionals with high quality products for more than four decades. Role Description: The successful candidate will promote and develop sales through the architect, contractor, and mason network in the greater southeastern Wisconsin territory. Position Responsibilities: * Consult with project managers, architects, designers, homeowners, and developers to gather and provide information related to our product offerings and provide the right products to complete the project in a manner to satisfy the end customer. * Maintain and enhance relationships with existing customers while actively seeking and acquiring new business opportunities to achieve growth objectives. * Meet with outside vendors to learn and include their products in presentations to customers. * Work in conjunction with inside sales staff assisting customers in the planning of projects to include the appropriate products and quantities of products. * Plan and calculate materials for retaining wall, pavers, and brick projects. * Produce estimates and purchase agreements for all customers. * Communicate directly with customers in person, via phone and email. * Consult with vendors on orders status and update customers and co-workers on orders. Requirements: * Masonry knowledge preferred * Preferred 4+ years of outside sales experience. * Able to travel from our home base for sales meetings and customer visits. * Plan and prioritize multiple projects, work effectively with limited supervision, work under pressure, balance many projects simultaneously, complete tasks and projects with a high level of quality and accuracy within prescribed deadlines. * Well developed phone presence and a high comfort level in initiating conversations. * Strong problem-solving skills and conflict resolution * Working knowledge of material uses and proper installation procedures. * Proficiency with office applications including MS Office. Schedule: * Business hours are Monday through Friday, between 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with rotating Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m., during the busy summer season. * This position has a weekly work expectation of 40 hours * Ability to work remotely and after business hours when if needed Benefits May Include: * Simple IRA with employer match * Paid holidays and PTO * Health, Dental, Vision Insurance * Commissions This job description describes the general nature and level of work performed by the employees assigned to this position.
