Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting them with their shopping needs, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will play a key role in maintaining the store's appearance and inventory, contributing to overall sales success. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. * Provide product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction. * Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. * Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and maintain inventory levels to ensure product availability. * Assist in supervising junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed. * Utilize basic math skills for processing transactions and conducting retail math calculations. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stock areas. * Exhibit strong phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or taking orders over the phone. Skills * Strong sales skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. * Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management. * Experience in cash handling procedures. * Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management. * Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication with customers. * Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not required. * Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
