*Job Title: Group Sales & Catering Coordinator - Inside SalesLocation: *Greater Phoenix Area (Scottsdale, Tempe, and Glendale) About Us: We operate three premier entertainment venues in the Phoenix metro area -- Lane Park Scottsdale, Recess Tempe (hybrid event space bar & restaurant with games), and Lumberjaxes Westgate. We offer one-of-a-kind group experiences including axe throwing, ice curling, duckpin bowling, game show, private events, live shows, and more. Our venues host everything from corporate team- building events to milestone celebrations, and we pride ourselves on delivering energetic, memorable events with top-tier service. Position Overview: The Group Sales & Catering Coordinator - Inside Sales plays a central role in managing inbound group sales inquiries, coordinating event details, and growing revenue through thoughtful follow-up and upselling. This role focuses primarily on responding to inbound leads, managing repeat client engagement, and enhancing group bookings through add-ons like catering and beverage packages. While this position is not responsible for outbound field sales, it does include leveraging third-party lead platforms and CRM outreach strategies to maximize conversion and rebookings. The role reports directly to the Sales & Marketing Manager and District Manager and works closely with the CRM, marketing team, and venue operations. Key Responsibilities:Inbound Sales Management * Respond promptly and professionally to inbound inquiries from the website, CRM system (GoHighLevel), front desk, and phone calls * Create tailored event proposals for group experiences across all three venues * Close sales by walking clients through event options, securing deposits, and confirming bookings * Maintain detailed CRM records and manage an organized pipeline of active leads Upselling & Add-On Revenue * Identify and convert opportunities for pre-sold catering and beverage packages, even for online or pre-booked groups * Engage with existing clients post-booking to explore upgrades or added services * Track upsell success and report revenue tied to catering add-ons or enhancements Repeat Business & Retention * Follow up with prior group clients to encourage rebooking and cross-location experiences * Use CRM tools to target lapsed clients with tailored follow-up or seasonal promotions * Partner with the marketing team to develop light-touch outreach strategies aimed at retention Lead Management & Internal Collaboration * Utilize third-party event lead platforms (e.g. The Bash, Eventective, peerspace) to manage inbound sales opportunities * Work with the marketing team to align promotional offerings with current group packages * Maintain strong coordination with Venue Managers and Kitchen Managers to ensure smooth event delivery Administrative & Communication * Ensure all client communications, booking details, and revenue notes are accurately entered into the CRM * Collaborate weekly with the Sales & Marketing Manager to review pipeline status and sales metrics * Assist with occasional onsite event walk-throughs when necessary (typically not required) Compensation & Benefits: * Base Salary: $50,000 annually ($75,000 OTE annually) * Commission: 1.5% commission on all group events closed by this coordinator (including catering or beverage upsells added to online bookings not originally sourced through them) * Bonus: Not listed in offer, but exists based on team-wide success and future performance review. * Other Benefits: * Two weeks paid vacation (blackout dates apply during peak seasons) * Employee venue access and discount privileges * Access to professional development and internal growth opportunities Qualifications: Required: * 1+ years of experience in inside sales, hospitality, or event coordination * Strong communication and follow-up skills * High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple inquiries at once * Familiarity with CRM systems (GoHighLevel preferred) * Comfortable working remotely If needed with occasional on site workdays and in-person team meetings or check-ins Preferred: * Experience in food & beverage event sales or customer service * Track record of closing group events or managing hospitality pipelines * Familiarity with the Phoenix local event and business scene Schedule & Work Requirements: * Full-time position with flexible hours based on inquiry volume * Primarily remote with occasional venue visits or team meetings * Some evening and weekend responsiveness required, based on client needs Reports To: Sales & Marketing Manager and District Manager Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Benefits: * Employee discount * Paid time off Shift: * Day shift * Evening shift * Morning shift Supplemental Pay: * Bonus opportunities * Commission pay * Performance bonus Experience: * CRM software: 1 year (Required) * Events management: 1 year (Required) * Hospitality Sales: 1 year (Required) * Catering Sales: 1 year (Required) * Business development: 1 year (Required) Ability to Commute: * Scottsdale, AZ 85251 (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Scottsdale, AZ 85251: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Scottsdale, AZ 85251Lane Park Scottsdale
