About daydream * _daydream builds growth marketing playbooks for the world 's fastest growing companies._ Note: This role requires candidates to be in-person, in-office 3 days per week in our Hayes Valley, San Francisco office. We believe the future of growth marketing is one where companies pay for outcomes, rather than tools. Today, we leverage a combination of AI-enabled services + software to execute SEO growth playbooks for companies like Clay, Descript, and Beacons and dozens of others. In the future, we'll expand our capabilities across the entire growth marketing stack, encompassing all essential customer acquisition channels. We've raised $6.2M from leading investors like First Round Capital, Basis Set Ventures, WndrCo, SOMA Capital and current and former Heads of Growth at companies like Notion, Airtable, Webflow and Dropbox as well as notable angels like Lenny Rachitsky and Eli Schwartz, Author of Product-Led SEO. The problem we 're trying to solve Every company needs to do two things: * Build a product. * Acquire customers. There are three ways to acquire customers -- sales, product-led growth, and growth marketing. Of these three, growth marketing is particularly hard to staff for because great internal talent is find (ex. in SEO, there are probably <20 people who we would consider world-class), and time-consuming to ramp. Then there's the agencies, but agencies are often slow, lack strong technical talent, and in general are associated with poor quality of outcomes. How we 're solving this problem daydream is different -- we've built a vertically integrated software + services stack with a singular goal in mind -- deliver outstanding outcomes for every customer we service, repeatedly and consistently in a fraction of the time they expect. While we've started with SEO, we expect to expand to all other major growth marketing channels over the near future. What you 'll be doing We're closing 6-figure deals with top-tier startups--fast. Inbound is strong, warm, and consistent. Right now, every deal is being handled by our Head of GTM. But the volume has scaled beyond what one person can handle, so we're hiring two AEs to convert that momentum into revenue and help shape what comes next. You'll report directly to our Head of GTM and step into a sales engine that's already working. You won't be building from scratch, but you will be expected to close deals, refine what's working, and make the process better. You'll be responsible for: * Running strategic, high-context sales calls with CMOs, Heads of Growth, and technical marketers * Qualifying inbound leads and reactivating warm pipeline * Managing the full sales cycle from discovery to proposal to close * Collaborating closely with our Growth and Engineering teams to understand how our SEO engine works and communicate that value clearly * Sharing insights from the field to shape our ICP, positioning, and sales motion What your first 4 months will look like Month 1 -2 * Ramp up fast on our product, positioning, and sales playbook * Step into a steady stream of booked inbound calls * Start closing 6-figure deals using the current deck and materials * Build context by shadowing the Head of GTM and learning our buyer types and objections Month 3 -4 * Refine how we qualify, pitch, and close high-fit leads * Start owning deals end-to-end and closing consistently * Identify gaps in our funnel and share feedback to improve our messaging and outbound strategy * Help build the foundation for repeatable AE performance as the sales team scales You 'll thrive in this role if you * Have 2+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, including at least 1 year closing 5-figure+ deals * Have sold into marketing, content, or growth teams--or are confident you can learn to * Are comfortable speaking with senior buyers and leading strategic conversations * Are curious and motivated to learn how SEO and growth actually work under the hood * Want to move fast, own deals, and work closely with leadership * Can write clearly, handle async communication, and manage your own pipeline This role won 't be a fit if you * Prefer selling from a rigid playbook vs. learning the product and improving the process * Aren't comfortable learning the technical side of our offering or selling to sophisticated buyers * Want a highly structured, slow-moving sales org--this is early and growing fast * Aren't excited by autonomy or the pressure of owning high-value deals end-to-end What you 'll gain * A front-row seat to how high-performing SEO and growth engines are built * Direct access to founders, operators, and growth leads at breakout startups * An active role in scaling a proven, fast-moving GTM process * High visibility, high ownership, and the opportunity to shape how we grow Compensation * Competitive base salary + uncapped commission.
