Full description of the position

Business Development / Regional Sales Trainer Overview The Business Development / Regional Sales Trainer professional plays a key role in driving customer success and new business growth by identifying and closing new business, providing consistent training to MOC and dealership personnel, and increasing sales of MOC's automotive industry-leading products at existing customers. This role combines sales expertise with hands-on product training to enhance customer engagement and market adoption. Key Responsibilities Sales & Customer Engagement (75%) * Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and sales teams to win new business and drive sales of new/underutilized products at existing customers. * Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth. * Conduct in-depth product demonstrations and training sessions tailored to client needs. * Provide expert consultation on product features and benefits in an effort to maximize Sales at new and existing customers. Product Training & Demonstrations (15%) * Lead engaging, hands-on training sessions for customers, partners, and internal teams. * Leverage field experience to assist in developing training materials and presentations to ensure effective knowledge transfer. * Stay updated on industry trends and product developments to maintain expertise. * Logistics & Administration (10%) * Coordinate product shipments, setup, and logistics for demonstrations and events. * Track and report on sales performance, customer feedback, and market insights. * Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with company policies and procedures Core Competencies * Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Ability to convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences. * Sales & Negotiation: Proven ability to drive sales, close deals, and develop strong business relationships. * Problem Solving: Quick decision-making and troubleshooting in training and sales scenarios. * Coaching: Ability to implement, train and reinforce standard sales and training processes that drive revenue growth * Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with product operation, industry tools, and sales software. * Adaptability: Ability to adjust strategies based on customer needs and market trends. Qualifications Education & Experience * Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in sales, training, or a related field. * Preferred: Experience in industrial, automotive, or technical sales. Technical & Software Skills * Proficiency in CRM software and sales tracking tools. * Familiarity with training platforms and presentation software. * Familiarity with Microsoft 365. * Automotive fluid exchange equipment operation and demonstration. Certificates & Licenses * Relevant industry certifications (preferred). Physical & Travel Requirements * Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 50 lbs (reasonable accommodations available). * Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned region.
