Job Description Updated Get in on the ground floor of a rapidly growing eco startup in Richmond! We pick up used cooking oil from restaurants in the local Richmond area and convert it into eco-friendly biodiesel. We do door-to-door sales, speaking with restaurant owners and managers. Looking for a strong sales associate with a proven track record. Must be bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish. Compensation is fully commission based, $50 per sale plus $2/gallon on first month's pickup, which works out to $100-$600+ per sale, depending on the size of the account. $150 per sale for an average account size. Target comp is starting at $50/hr. Sales are quick and usually either close, pass, or schedule follow up within 5 minutes. High performers can easily make a sale an hour, so $150+/hr. You would be paid as a 1099 contractor. You have flexibility to set your own hours. We've found restaurant owners/managers to be most available between 1-5 PM Mon-Sun, but you have the flexibility to choose your own schedule. Responsibilities * Visit new restaurants to generate sales. Either close the sale on the spot, schedule a follow-up appointment, or leave a business card and get a phone number for follow up over the phone. You'll be given a company phone number * Connect with customers' pain points and demonstrate the value of our services * Use our CRM to track all sales activity Qualifications * Bilingual. Fluent in both English and Spanish, to communicate with English and Spanish speaking restaurant owners * 2+ years professional sales experience, preferably in door-to-door sales * Valid driver's license. Vehicle for transportation.
