Electrical Contractor Sales Representative Great Basin Infrastructure Solutions Remote - Territory covers the Greater San Francisco Bay Area North to Oregon, East to Nevada, and South to LA About Us Great Basin Infrastructure Solutions is a leader in providing innovative outdoor and street lighting solutions across California and beyond. With a diverse line card featuring top manufacturers, we offer solutions ranging from decorative pedestrian lighting in resort towns like South Lake Tahoe to connected 5G street poles with integrated cameras, speakers, and Bluetooth capabilities. Our recent projects include lighting poles for Caltrans, upgrades to the Capitola Pier, and installations of solar and EV charging stations. As we expand, we're looking for a dedicated Contractor Sales Representative to strengthen relationships with C10 electrical and other lighting contractors and drive our growth in this competitive industry. Electrical Contractor Sales Representative Job Summary The Electrical Contractor Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and fostering strong relationships with electrical and lighting contractors across the Great SF Bay Area, extending into Northern and Southern California and Nevada. This role will improve our market exposure, ensuring contractors consider Great Basin Infrastructure Solutions as a go-to partner for municipal and infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities: * Relationship Building : Identify, engage, and build relationships with key C10 electrical contractors, lighting contractors, and other industry stakeholders. * Product Expertise : Develop in-depth knowledge of our line card, including features like ease of installation, control systems, solar capabilities, and advanced 5G integration, to articulate product benefits effectively. * Market Expansion : Increase the visibility of our solutions in target regions, positioning Great Basin Infrastructure Solutions as the preferred choice for contractors during project selection. * Project Tracking : Track ongoing and upcoming projects, ensuring Great Basin has a competitive edge in bidding opportunities. * Performance Metrics : Meet key performance indicators, such as new contacts identified, number of touches per contractor, relationships established, and new projects won. Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Tasks: * Daily : Reach out to contractors via email, phone, or in-person visits, focusing on relationship-building activities and follow-ups. * Weekly : Conduct scheduled meetings with contractors to discuss project needs and introduce our product line; maintain detailed records of interactions in CRM. * Monthly : Review and report on relationship-building milestones, new contacts made, and any project bidding activity. Skills and Qualifications: * Established relationships with C10 electrical and lighting contractors. * Knowledge of the outdoor and street lighting industry. * Strong verbal communication and product presentation skills. * Ability to articulate the benefits of complex product lines, including technical specifications. * Self-motivated and autonomous, capable of managing a broad territory with minimal supervision. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): * Number of new contractor relationships developed. * Number of touches per contractor contact. * Volume of new projects bid on and won through relationship efforts. * Revenue generated from new partnerships. Compensation and Benefits: * Base Salary + Bonus : Compensation based on new relationships, contacts established, and projects won. * Benefits : Company vehicle, phone reimbursement, and any additional tools needed to perform the role effectively. * Travel Requirements : Regular travel within assigned territory, with flexibility to manage schedule for optimal client engagement.
