Summary: Powder Coating Technician is responsible for the cleaning of parts and application of powder coating for metal fabrication jobs. The main emphasis for this position is racking, washing, applying finishes, and baking of parts, but other duties may include and are not limited to, assembly, packing, maintenance and cleaning. Responsibilities and duties include: * Rack parts on line * Prepare parts for washing * Wash parts using manual wash booth or automated line * Bake dry parts * Apply powder coat finish to parts in spray booth * Bake final powder coat parts in oven * Remove and package parts * Assembly as needed * Packaging as needed * Cleaning powder coat machines and area Education or Certifications: * High School diploma or equivalent * Two years applicable powder coating experience Skills/Abilities/Competencies: * Basic blue print reading and understanding * Job packet reading * Ability to lift parts up to 50lbs * Standing / walking all day Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Schedule: * 10 hour shift * Evening shift * Monday to Thur 2:00 pm to 12:30 am * Work Location: In person Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off Schedule: * 10 hour shift * Night shift Ability to Commute: * Rogers, MN (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Rogers, MN: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
