As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience, driving sales, and maintaining store standards. Responsibilities * Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their inquiries. * Communicate product knowledge effectively to help customers make informed purchasing decisions. * Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer's shopping experience and increase sales. * Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems. * Maintain organized stock levels on the sales floor and assist with inventory management. * Ensure that merchandise is displayed attractively and according to store standards. * Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory counts. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment. Skills * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers. * Experience in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities. * Proficient in basic math skills for handling transactions and retail math applications. * Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems for efficient transaction processing. * Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential. * Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. * Attention to detail in maintaining stock levels and visual merchandising standards.
