Responsibilities of the Sales Trainee include, but are not limited to: * Successfully complete a comprehensive 6-12-month training program covering, but not limited to: * Application Engineering. * Marketing. * Operations. * Customer Service. * Branch Training Rotation. * Sales & Product Training. * Processing sales via computer and phone. * Writing and entering orders into system. * Light purchasing and handling quotations. * Developing and identifying new sales/service opportunities within assigned sales territory. * Building and sustaining customer relationships * Interacting with internal company resources to achieve goals. Qualifications of the Sales Trainee include, but are not limited to: * BS in Mechanical Engineering. * Must be willing to travel. * Must have a customer-service oriented mentality. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * MS computer knowledge., * Communicate well with other internally and externally - be able to resolve unique customer requests and challenges. * Good analytical and problem-solving skills for dynamic environment essential for market share growth. * Self-starter ability to work productively with minimal supervision. Additional Information: Working Conditions: Office and Car Travel Travel: Travel within the DFW region.
