Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service, and possess the ability to diagnose and repair various automotive systems. This role requires a commitment to customer service and a passion for maintaining high-quality standards in vehicle maintenance and repair. Duties * Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, ensuring adherence to dealership standards. * Diagnose issues with automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, and other mechanical systems. * Utilize schematics to troubleshoot and resolve complex automotive problems effectively. * Conduct wheel alignments and adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal vehicle performance. * Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle. * Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle's needs, providing excellent customer service throughout the process. * Stay updated on the latest advancements in automotive technology, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Qualifications * Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic * Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems and powertrain mechanics. * Familiarity with diagnosing issues using schematics and technical manuals. * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to clients. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required; additional certifications in automotive service are a plus. * Commitment to maintaining safety protocols and cleanliness in the workspace.
