Full description of the position
Condux Tesmec is looking to expand our dynamic and fast-paced sales team with the addition of a Regional Sales Manager to cover our Central and Midwest US territory. Condux Tesmec, as part of a joint venture with Condux International, leverages a long history of North American market strength in overhead and underground cable installation equipment as well as the knowledge and ability to assemble and manufacture high quality products. In conjunction with Condux International, Condux Tesmec brings a background in engineering and manufacturing excellence using advanced proprietary technology that has allowed them to become the worldwide leader in high voltage tension stringing equipment for the transmission and distribution market. Condux Tesmec sells equipment for the installation of overhead & underground transmission & distribution powerlines in US & Canada. We are part of a worldwide group active in design, manufacture and sales of products, technologies and integrated solutions for the construction, maintenance and efficiency of infrastructures related to the transport and distribution of energy, data, and material. Condux Tesmec's product portfolio consists of stringing equipment including, machines such as puller & puller-tensioner, reel stands, reel winders, pulling rope, blocks and tools. Regional Sales Manager Duties/Responsibilities: * Travel extensively (75% of work time) within the assigned territories to sell the company's products * Develop and execute sales strategies for stringing equipment in assigned territories * Monitor existing accounts and regularly communicates with primary contacts for the account * Work to establish new accounts in the region * Prepare customer price quotations * Review and analyzes sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets * Identify, qualify, and cultivate customer preference to cultivate new leads and prospects * Consult with potential customers to understand their needs; identify and recommends equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs * Resolve customer complaints and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations * Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, demonstrating in-depth product knowledge and understanding their specific needs * Act as company representative at trade association meetings * Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical assistance to ensure optimal equipment application and safety * Work toward increasing sales growth in the region by partnering with the Head of Sales and General Manager * Collaborate with the sales team to establish a network of contacts and generate qualified leads Required Skills/Abilities: The Regional Sales Manager requires experience with products or services of a highly complex nature that require considerable specialized training or in- depth knowledge to explain the features and benefits of equipment offered, utilizing persuasive sales techniques. * Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders * Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills * Experience working independently and managing multiple priorities * Proficient in CRM software (Salesforce) and other relevant sales tools * Ability to multitask and complete work while travelling * Thorough knowledge of products, region, market, and clients * Strong understanding of stringing equipment and their applications in overhead and underground transmission & distribution projects * Proven experience in a B2B sales environment, preferably within the power line construction industry * Fluency in English required, and fluency in French for Canada territory is beneficial * Ability to work towards assigned goals and targets * Valid Class D driver's license and insurable driving record Supervisory Responsibilities: * None Education and Experience: * Five years of outside sales experience required * Bachelor's degree in related sales or business field preferred * Experience with Salesforce preferred Compensation and Benefits: * Competitive salary, bonus, and sales incentive package with expected annual total compensation ranging from $100,000 to $150,000 * Comprehensive employees benefits package including health and dental insurance, vision insurance, short and long-term disability, life insurance, and 401(k) retirement plan options. * Generous paid time off (PTO) and holiday benefits beginning immediately upon hire * Opportunity to represent and support a global leader in the energy infrastructure industry * Supportive and collaborative work environment * Potential for career growth and developmentCondux International, Inc.
