Company Description Penns Valley Building Supply is a well-known and respected pro lumberyard and building materials retailer. Job Description Perform sales responsibilities at the front counter for contractors and DIY customers. You will have the opportunity to develop relationships with contractors and gain a deep knowledge of the stock lumber and building materials we sell. You will also help with stocking shelves and organizing the store. Job Duties and Responsibilities * Build relationships and sell lumber and building materials, both in person and on the phone * Familiarize yourself with our suppliers and product base to provide knowledgeable recommendations on products and services * Create material estimates * Coordinate sales orders and deliveries with yard crew * Participate in small amounts of stock reordering * Assist other team members with maintaining inventory, answer phones, and other tasks around the store. * Maintain positive work environment by behaving and communicating in a profession and ethical manner with all stakeholders Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 - 46 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * Company car * Employee discount * Flexible schedule * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off Compensation Package: * Bonus opportunities Schedule: * Monday to Friday Education: * High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: * Building Materials Sales: 3 years (Preferred) * Building Materials Industry: 3 years (Required) Work Location: In person
