Fantasy Gifts is currently hiring a part-time sales associate with the following set schedule Locations: Fridley, MN Monday, Wednesday, Friday Evenings 5:45pm - 9:15pm & Saturday 9:45am - 6:00pm Fantasy Gifts Fantasy Gifts has been a local adult novelty retailer in the Twin Cities for over 40 years. Stretching from Coon Rapids to Burnsville, Fantasy Gifts provides their customers with the best quality products at the best prices with the best customer service. As a member of Fantasy Gifts' team, you will be expected to contribute your talents and energy by providing great customer service in our store. We require reliability, open mindedness, a good work ethic, and a good team attitude. Fantasy Gifts is seeking to add an employee that is 18 years of age or older, open-minded, self-motivated, with a friendly attitude that has reliable transportation, and the ability to work a set schedule. Key Responsibilities & Tasks * Greet customers as they enter the store. * Explain the proper way to use products and any accessories that come with them, answering any questions and addressing any concerns the customer might have. * Listen to customers to gain a thorough understanding of what they need and make recommendations. * Examine sales floor when the opportunity presents itself to ensure merchandise is well-maintained by ensuring it is clean and in the correct place. * Provide exemplary customer service throughout the shift, helping customers as needed and demonstrating our company culture. * Process business transactions, handle cash, process debit/credit cards and perform exchanges when permitted (note that we allow customers to make purchases using their smartphones). Verify customer identity before accepting credit cards by checking driver's license information. * Perform general janitorial duties during and after shift, which consists of sweeping, mopping, dusting, and organizing various work areas. Knowledge/Skills/Experience * Ability to count till * Team player * Able to juggle several tasks simultaneously * Organizational skills * Experienced with Microsoft Windows 10 Required * At least 18 years of age * Able to perform basic math (including accurately counting the till), writing, reading, and cleaning tasks without supervision * Reliable Transportation * Service-oriented attitude * Accommodate a set schedule * Able to lift at least 30 pounds * Perform housekeeping tasks, such as mopping, sweeping, keeping surfaces clear and sanitizing at your assigned checkout counter Hi, this Colleen the owner and I wanted to write a little bit about working for Fantasy Gifts, one thing I always tell folks is that if the store is tidy and organized and there are no customers you are free to read, do your homework, one person even brought in an electronic drum pad and practiced.
