Stratus is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager in Virgina to generate and develop opportunities in select markets, drive strategic partnerships, and support executive-level business development efforts. This role involves maintaining client relationships, engaging in industry organizations, and assisting with RFQs and presentations. JOB DUTIES * Generate and develop opportunities in select markets that result in winning work for the company. * Work with executive level personnel and their teams to develop, implement, and oversee the market driven business development efforts. * Develop new strategic partnerships and clients. * Maintain and assist with existing relationships when requested. * Actively participate in community and industry related organizations. * Assist in developing responses for RFQs and presentations. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * Bachelor's degree * 8-10 years of experience * AEC experience REQUIRED SKILLS * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Strong presentation skills. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. * Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe InDesign. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. * Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
