Milwaukee Airwaves, an award-winning DJ and event production company, is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. We specialize in high-end private events, setting the industry standard for DJ services and event production. Our company is growing, and we need a dedicated salesperson to help us maintain and expand our booking volume. Position Overview: As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for engaging with potential clients to secure new bookings and working with existing clients to enhance their event experience by upselling additional services. This role requires a blend of in-office and remote work, with structured office hours and flexible evening calls to accommodate client schedules. Responsibilities: * Prospect & Convert: Engage with inbound leads and inquiries, guiding potential clients through our offerings and converting them into booked events. * Client Retention & Upselling: Reach out to existing clients at the six-month mark before their event to discuss upgrades and additional services. * Sales Strategy & Performance: Meet and exceed sales goals to maintain and increase booking volume. * Consultative Selling: Educate clients on our premium DJ and event production services to ensure they receive the best possible experience. * CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, leads, and sales progress. * Industry Representation: Represent Milwaukee Airwaves at networking events, wedding expos, and other relevant functions as needed. Requirements: * Proven experience in sales, preferably in the event, hospitality, or entertainment industry. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly. * Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a drive to exceed sales targets. * Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small, passionate team. * Comfortable making outbound calls and conducting client meetings in person and virtually. * Knowledge of the wedding and private events industry is a plus. Schedule & Compensation: * 2 days in-office during normal business hours. * 1-2 evenings per week for after-hours client calls (remote). * Hybrid compensation model: Base salary + commission on bookings.
