As a Sales Account Specialist at IEWC, you will play a critical role in our customers success by serving a high volume of accounts who prioritize speed, efficiency, and expert guidance. Your primary objectives are to ensure a seamless experience by responding quickly to customer needs and driving sales growth by identifying opportunities to expand existing relationships. Success in this role requires the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously, provide timely and solution-oriented support, and proactively engage with a collaborative mindset to strengthen long-term partnerships and drive revenue growth. Responsibilities: * Process all customer quote requests quickly and accurately by utilizing SAP and Salesforce. Perform quote follow ups to secure future business and ask for customer feedback to ensure alignment and create entrusted partnerships. * Collaborate internally with Customer Service, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, and other internal functions to resolve customer requests including order inquiries, returns, compliance and regulation requests, product inquiries, and other general customer requests as needed within required timeline. * Work in a shared team model alongside other Sales Account Specialists to efficiently manage customer needs, share insights, and drive account growth through a team-based approach. * Actively engage in product education opportunities to become self-sufficient on routine wire, cable, and wire management products. * Follow and uphold best practices to deliver a consistent, trusted customer experience at IEWC. Actively contribute to refining processes, sharing insights, and driving continuous improvement to enhance our commercial approach. * Review the teams book of business to ensure customer purchasing aligns with their planned target. * Proactively engage with customers who are underperforming to understand their needs and how IEWC can support them. Similarly, engage with customers who are overperforming to ensure we are positioned to continue supporting their success. * Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for IEWCs offerings. Analyze sales data and customer feedback to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement. Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree preferred; 2+ years of prior experience in a sales environment and/or sound understanding of a sales process. * Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. * Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical and business information and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. * Strong computer skills within MS Office. * Intermediate excel skills. * ERP/CRM experience desired, Salesforce and SAP are a plus. * The above represents the essential job functions that you are assigned to perform in your job.
