Responsibilities * Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment. * Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. * Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and installations. * Interpret schematics and technical manuals to understand vehicle systems and components. * Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their vehicle needs and repair options. * Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems before they become major issues. * Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. * Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training. Requirements * Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic with a strong understanding of automotive service practices. * Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, including the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems. * Familiarity with diesel engine repair is a plus but not mandatory. * Ability to read and interpret schematics related to automotive electrical systems. * Experience using both hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. * A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive technology are preferred but not mandatory. * A commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the automotive field.
