Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Retail Store associate to oversee the daily operations of our grocery store. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, controlling inventory, negotiating prices with suppliers, and ensuring that the store meets its financial goals. Responsibilities * Lead and motivate a team of employees, including assistant managers and staff, to achieve store objectives. * Oversee employee orientation and training programs to ensure all staff are equipped with the necessary skills. * Manage inventory control processes to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste. * Develop and implement budgeting strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining high standards of customer service. * Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms for store inventory. * Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the store environment. * Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve sales growth. * Foster a positive shopping experience by maintaining high standards of store presentation and customer service. Experience * Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a grocery store setting. * must be bilingual * Proficiency in inventory control systems and budgeting practices. * Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for interacting with customers, suppliers, and staff. * Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors to achieve the best pricing for products.
