Sullivan's Grocery Part-Time Grocery Cashier Department: Store Job Status: Part Time FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Reports To: Grocery Manager/Assistant Grocery Manager Amount of Travel Required: None Job Type: Regular Positions Supervised: None Work Schedule: Flexible Schedule POSITION SUMMARY Scan Bag, pack or package by hand a wide variety of products and materials. Essential Functions Statement(s) Provide customer service by greeeting and assisting customers, and responding to customer inquiries and complaints. Load materials and products into package processing equipment. Clean materials, supplies, or work areas and parking lot using cleaning solutions and hand tools. Transport packages to customers' vehicles. Obtain, move, and sort products, materials, containers, and orders, using hand tools. Bag items at cashier stations and load into customer carts. Sort grocey items before and while bagging to prevent grocey item damage or spoilage. Maintain high volume areas of sales floor during slow periods.
