Mindful Distributors seeks an enthusiastic, beer-knowledgeable sales professional to continue growing our thriving business in the Bay Area, from Santa Cruz out to Sacramento. We're looking for a salesperson who has beer and spirits knowledge, either from a Cicerone, pro-brewing, home-brewing or hospitality perspective. That person will help Mindful grow our very limited portfolio of super-talented brewers and distillers. Our model is different -- we represent only a small number of great suppliers, and need a professional on our team to help share the stories of our makers with our customers including restaurants, bars, delis, bodegas, and bigger off-premise markets. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a history of hard work towards reaching a difficult goal, and must be willing to work flexible hours, and sometimes night-time hours, to meet our customers when they work. Also, the successful candidate should have a car, or be willing to offer a travel solution which will allow them to meet with at least 18 customers per day in person. This position offers competitive compensation within the framework of a small, start-up business.
