Full description of the position
Job Summary: The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales account managers located in California, Nevada, and Arizona. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, overseeing regional sales activities, and ensuring that sales targets are met. The Sales Manager will work closely with the sales team to drive growth and expand our market presence. Key Responsibilities: 1. Team Leadership: * Supervise and support sales account managers in California, Nevada, and Arizona. oConduct regular team meetings and one-on-one check-ins to monitor performance and provide guidance. * Foster a positive and motivating work environment. 2. Sales Strategy and Planning: * Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company goals. oAnalyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth. * Set sales targets and objectives for the team and monitor progress. 3. Customer Relationship Management: * Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including homeowners and builders. oAddress customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. * Conduct regular visits to key accounts and potential clients. 4. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: * Track and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. oPrepare and present sales reports to senior management. * Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as needed. 5. Training and Development: * Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the sales team. oEnsure that sales account managers are knowledgeable about product offerings and industry trends. * Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and performance. 6. Budget Management: * Manage the sales budget and allocate resources effectively. * Monitor expenses and ensure that sales activities are cost-effective. 7. Travel: * Travel to Nevada and Arizona as needed to support sales account managers and meet with clients. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. * Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar leadership role in residential construction. * Understanding of the window manufacturing industry a plus. * Strong understanding on market dynamics. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions. * Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. * Willingness to travel as required.
