Full description of the position

The Trustee Sale Officer is primarily responsible for processing non- judicial foreclosures for each stage of the foreclosure process in accordance with state statutes and local laws, as well as servicer, investor and insurer requirements. As Trustee Sale Officer, you may be assigned to work on matters handled in any of the states and jurisdictions the firm practices in. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Compile, prepare and summarize relevant information and materials to be used in preparation of legal documents and notices and required mailings * Audit and Sign-off on First Legal & NOS * Review TSG * Publication audit * Sale audit * Sale bid preparation * Client Notification of Sales Results * Manage BK Notifications and Holds * Manage Holds and Closes * Primary Point of contact for initial escalated client issues * Prepare legal documents and notices * Submit legal documents for execution by clients * Prepare Payoff and Reinstatements and send to borrowers * Prepare chronologies to send to client * Maintain and update active case files in the firm's database * Responding to client inquiries * Internal and client system updates * Listen to and communicate with team members both verbally and in written form to understand team goals, then help execute on the plan to realize those goals * Multitasking, prioritizing, and working efficiently from one task to the next * Additional tasks as assigned The firm may assign work in different practice areas including but not limited to: * Litigation * Non-Judicial Foreclosure * Judicial Foreclosure * Replevin & Collection Matters * Bankruptcy * Mediation * Eviction * Title Curative * Surplus Funds * Other practice areas as assigned MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education and Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the processing of non-judicial foreclosures (required); Law firm experience e-filing and conventional filing; General understanding of the litigation process; Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook experience; Detail oriented with attention to accuracy; Competent in organization, multi-tasking, and prioritization, while maintaining confidentiality; Strong work ethic with the ability to balance and prioritize high volume workload; Strong mathematical skills; Adept in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions. Technical Skills: Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate proficiency with web-based case management systems preferred.
