WHERE IT ALL BEGAN It was a well-intentioned and innocent idea. It seemed that most boutiques on Maui back in 2006 were beyond reach for the thousands of women who live and work on the island. Mahina's co-founders thought a boutique that sold stylish clothing at more affordable prices may meet their needs. They didn't imagine that Mahina would not only become a local favorite but that visitors would also flock to their stores. And since that first store opened in Paia, Mahina has grown to a 16-store chain on Maui, Oahu, Kauai and the Big Island. POSITION DETAILS We are looking for either two part time or one full time sales associate for our Waikoloa location. Our perfect candidate is friendly, efficient, reliable and has a heart for service and an eye for fashion. Please note; this is not a seasonal position and must be available weekends. Store hours: 10am- 8pm daily. Requirements: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Advanced customer service skills * Positive attitude and outlook * Professional appearance and demeanor * Strong multitasking skills * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and move around the store for long periods (up to 8 hours), carry multiple items on hangers, and squat down to restock low drawers. The employee may occasionally be required to stand on a ladder or lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
