Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our Furniture and Design Sales Team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong background in furniture sales, or sales in general. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers while driving sales and maintaining a high level of detail. * We would love to see you Join the Mathis Home team! Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them with their furniture needs. * Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products and services. * Process transactions efficiently and accurately. * Maintain a clean and organized sales floor. * Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. * Uphold company policies and procedures while delivering outstanding customer service. * Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when handling customer calls. Qualifications * Sales experience, furniture sales preferred. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers. * Ability to upsell products and create a positive shopping experience for customers. * Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse clientele. * Strong supervisory skills are a plus, with the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment. * A friendly demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills is essential for success in this role.
