As a sales associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by assisting customers with finding products, processing transactions efficiently, and maintaining a tidy sales floor. You'll utilize your product knowledge to enhance the shopping experience, promote sales, and ensure customer satisfaction. The Sales Associate is responsible for the following: * Greeting customers and offering assistance * Recommending products or merchandise to help customers * Answering questions and addressing concerns * Informing customers about sales, promotions and policies * Taking payments for purchases and packaging purchases * Stocking merchandise and creating displays * Taking inventory and monitoring sales floor * Performs other duties as assigned Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred. Experience: 1 year experience, preferred Skills: * The ability to communicate effectively * Knowledge of point of sale systems * Strong customer service skills * Ability to multitask * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Perform basic math and money handling * Problem-solving Physical Requirements: * Standing or sitting for extended periods * Ability to lift 25 lbs. * Repetitive wrist motion * Audible recognition of alarms Weekly Schedule: * Variable, based on business needs and availability * Part-Time, non-exempt. * Friday, Saturday, Sunday Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15.00 per hour Benefits: * Employee discount * Paid time off Shift: * Day shift * Evening shift * Morning shift Ability to Commute: * Westfield, IN 46074 (Required) Work Location: In person
