POSITION SUMMARY We're looking for a results-driven and strategic Business Development Manager to join our team and lead efforts in expanding our market presence, building strong client relationships, and unlocking new revenue opportunities. This role requires a self-starter who can identify growth opportunities, build meaningful partnerships, and drive long-term value for the business. As the Business Development Manager, you'll collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to develop go-to-market strategies and win new business across key verticals. Ideal candidates will bring strong communication skills, a deep understanding of the sales cycle, and a passion for driving measurable growth. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and outbound prospecting. * Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified leads across target industries or accounts. * Develop and deliver compelling pitches, presentations, and proposals tailored to client needs. * Negotiate and close deals that align with company goals, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes. * Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with clients to support long-term growth and account expansion. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing success for new partners or clients. * Track and report on sales metrics, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts using CRM tools. * Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategy and positioning PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS * Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. * 4-6 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships (B2B or B2C, depending on industry). * Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth * Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. * Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement tools. * Ability to think strategically while executing tactically. * Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively * Experience in [insert specific industry, e.g., fashion, SaaS, retail * Familiarity with brand partnerships, licensing, or wholesale channels * Comfortable operating in a high-growth, fast-paced environment * Data-driven decision maker with a growth mindset PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
