Full description of the position

Overview We are seeking a results-driven Sales Director who can build their book of business and execute their own sales strategy. The ideal candidate will focus on client acquisition, business development, and relationship management, as well as lead and mentor a sales team. They need to optimize sales processes and align efforts with objectives that drive growth. We are looking for a hunter with an entrepreneurial mindset, charisma, the ability to execute at a high level, and strong industry connections. Duties * Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and maximize revenue. * Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team, including brokers and broker managers, fostering a culture of success and accountability by regular performance feedback and skill-development * Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies for business development. * Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, strategic partners, and key clients * Develop and execute sales plans, budgets, and strategies based on market trends and company objectives * Manage the launch of new programs and products * Develop sales programs tailored to benefiting growers, customers, and the company * Ensure the marketing team has brand consistency * Travel for trade shows, events, and business development * Solicit feedback from customers to improve products, services, and processes Experience * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience * Proven experience in a sales management and procurement, and demonstrated success in increasing company sales * 10 years of experience in inside and outside sales * 5 years of sales management experience, procurement, and marketing staff * Strong background in produce industry (groceries, etc) * Great listener with the ability to resolve conflicts and not blame others * Innovative and open to team members' ideas * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Able to interpret information and effectively showcase numerical data * Excellent leaders with ability to motivate and inspire others * Humility and willingness to accept feedback * Able to collaborate with staff on decision-making, planning, and facilitating process improvement Job Type: Full-time Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year Schedule: * 8 hour shift Application Question(s): * Do you have experience in the produce industry?
