Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Pawn Broker to join our team. As a Pawn Broker, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers while managing the buying, selling, and pawning of various items. This position requires strong interpersonal skills and a keen understanding of retail operations, as well as the ability to assess the value of merchandise accurately. Duties * Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their needs. * Assess and evaluate items brought in for pawn or sale, ensuring accurate pricing based on market value. * Manage cash handling processes, including transactions for buying, selling, and pawning items. * Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about merchandise features and benefits. * Utilize effective phone etiquette to assist customers over the phone with inquiries or transactions. * Implement upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities and improve customer satisfaction. * Maintain organized stock levels and ensure the sales floor is well-presented at all times. * Operate cash registers accurately while maintaining accountability for cash drawer. Skills * Proficient in cash handling and financial transactions. * Experience in retail sales with a focus on customer engagement. * Ability to conduct product demos that engage customers and promote sales. * Excellent phone etiquette for professional communication with clients. * Proven upselling abilities to maximize revenue opportunities. * Knowledge of stock management practices to maintain inventory accuracy.
