Job Overview The *Event Planning & Sales *position at Mon Cheri Restaurant is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing private events, promotions, and special celebrations. This pivotal role involves close collaboration with the management and marketing teams to ensure that every event reflects Mon Cheri's brand, meets high service standards, and exceeds client expectations. Through expertly managed and memorable events, the Event Planning & Sales position drives customer engagement and enhances the guest experience. Key Responsibilities: Event Planning & Sales * Plan and execute private events, parties, and special occasions, ensuring seamless alignment with client expectations and Mon Cheri's brand standards. * Develop detailed event plans, including timelines, layouts, menus, and staffing requirements. Client Liaison * Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the event lifecycle, from initial inquiry and contract negotiation to post-event follow-up. * Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for clients and their guests. Team Collaboration * Work closely with FOH and BOH teams to ensure event requirements, including staffing, menu execution, and logistics, are meticulously planned and delivered. * Facilitate pre-event briefings to align all teams on roles, responsibilities, and timelines. Event Execution * Oversee on-site event operations, ensuring flawless execution from setup to breakdown. * Address any issues that arise during events promptly and professionally. Vendor Management * Build and maintain relationships with external vendors (e.g., florists, photographers, musicians), coordinating their services to meet event needs and deadlines. Marketing Support * Partner with the marketing team to promote in-house events, seasonal offerings, and special promotions to boost visibility and attendance. * Provide creative input on event concepts to enhance Mon Cheri's appeal and engagement with target audiences. Budget & Financial Management * Collaborate with the finance team to create and adhere to event budgets, balancing cost efficiency with client satisfaction. * Track expenses and provide detailed financial summaries for each event. Post-Event Reporting * Conduct post-event evaluations, gathering client and team feedback to identify opportunities for improvement. * Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as client satisfaction scores, budget variances, and attendance metrics. * Maintain detailed records of event outcomes to support continuous refinement of Mon Cheri's event program. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year Benefits: * Flexible schedule * Paid time off Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Every weekend * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
