Connec is looking for the right person to join our team! After more than 20 years in business, Connec still operates as a mom-and-pop shop where customers we haven't heard from in years are still remembered when they call. Our customer relationships are the most important thing to our success and we need someone with the same mindset. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of success in sales with a strong self-starter approach and plenty of initiative. A good driving record and the ability to pass a background check are a must. The ability to learn quickly, adapt to and understand new technology as well as a personable, professional attitude will get you far. It is important that the sales style we present is not pushy or overly "salesy". A great personality and knowledge of the products are key! The products to be sold include, but are not limited to, home/business automation systems, home theater setups, home/business security. In a nutshell, you'll be selling Connec! Job Duties Include: Procuring leads Speaking to existing and new customers on the phone as well as in person at the office or on site where the work is needed Working in QuickBooks to create estimates Requirements: Strong sales background The ability to learn and adapt is a must A good driving record A passable background check The ability to acquire a DCJS registration *The company may send you through the course The ability to drive a provided company vehicle safely during work hours A professional appearance The ability to work with minimal supervision You must be driven, a self-starter and able to take initiative Familiarity with QuickBooks preferred Compensation: Base pay plus uncapped commission Bonus opportunities Paid holidays What you can expect: A relaxed work environment Your own private office A company vehicle to drive during the workday Monday-Friday business hours with weekends and holidays off Health, dental and vision insurance available for enrollment Paid vacation after 1 year PTO possible after 3 months Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $20.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
