Job Title: Inside Sales Representative - Medical Devices Job Description/Summary: As an entry-level Inside Sales Rep at The Electrode Store, you will be responsible for communicating with prospective customers all over the US, with the goal of attaining new customers and new orders in a specific medical device (diagnostic electrodes and related devices) and customer segment. Prospective customer types include medical practices, clinics, and hospitals, and the people you will typically interact with include physicians, techs, nurses, lab managers, office/practice managers, and buyers (purchasing departments). Responsibilities and Duties: * Call prospects from our office in Buckley, Washington to learn about their practice and medical device needs. * Follow our staged process steps with the goal of discovery, providing information about our products, providing product samples or flyers, and securing orders. * Follow-up with new and existing customers with periodic communications. * Prepare/plan your work-day and your annual plan (with guidance and support from management). This should include numerical, financial, and qualitative goals. * Provide pricing and quotations. * Enter sales orders and prospecting information including activities, customer or prospect contact information, and planned next steps into CRM or ERP database. * This job may periodically require attendance at trade shows, hosting video meetings or product demonstrations, and other tasks. Compensation (Commission Plan): The base pay is $16.66 per hour (approximately $35,000 per year), with additional commission paid as a percentage of revenue you generate, depending on your assigned product line and customer type and commission plan. The emphasis of the commission plan is on new customers and/or incremental product sales. Individual performance may vary, but the nominal performance expected is that commission would equal base pay after one year, and 2X base pay after two to three years. The commission has no ceiling (i.e., uncapped, unlimited, no cap, no limit, not capped) - the more revenue you generate, the higher your commission pay. Qualifications (personal characteristics including skills, education & experience): * Must have a competitive sales hunter mentality, and be persistent and energetic in doing the steps necessary to attain new customers and grow sales. * Directly related experience is not required. We will train you in your assigned product and customer category regarding product information, technical/clinical information, and our staged sales process. * A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is a plus. * Prior medical device sales experience or clinical medical experience is a plus. * Must have an excellent phone voice (clear, friendly, happy) with a positive, helpful, honest demeanor, with the idea of providing useful information and delighting the customer while valuing their time. * Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the US.
