To support our growth trajectory and ensure customer excellence, we are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team. Role Overview: As the Business Development Manager , you will play a pivotal role developing and implementing sales strategies, managing key accounts, fostering customer relationships, and ensuring sales targets are met or exceeded. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a passion for sales and technical solutions. Key Responsibilities: Customer Management: * Support and service existing customers in assigned territories. * Visit customers regularly to maintain strong face-to-face relationships. * Follow up on weekly web leads and solicit new customers. * Provide technical product support and grow accounts with new projects. * Travel requirements: Frequent travel within North America with occasional international trips as required. Sales Growth: * Develop and manage go-to-market strategies for products, with a focus on force measurement and sensor solutions. * Increase market share, sales volumes, and customer satisfaction. * Work closely with engineering teams to develop new product ideas. * Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to identify opportunities for business growth. * Achieve or exceed sales targets by effectively managing sales pipelines and closing deals. Administrative Responsibilities: * Provide accurate forecasting information for supply chain and sales budgeting. * Submit expense reports and assist finance with delinquent payments from customers. * Review and support associated sales orders and monitor delivery performance. * Support the sales team by promoting specific product lines. Experience & Qualifications: * 5+ years of results-driven experience in industrial or outside sales, ideally technical sales within the force measurement industry (load cells or force sensors). * Familiarity with industries such as aerospace, automotive, manufacturing, medical devices, and/or industrial automation. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (Written and oral) with the ability to collaborate across various customers, teams, and cultures. * Demonstrates strong self-motivation, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Eager to grow business with a hunter mentality. * Knowledge of mechanical, electronic, and software engineering principles is highly advantageous. * Mastery of Microsoft tools - Data driven / report expert. * Experience using CRM tools and sales tracking software. Microsoft D365 BC experience is highly desirable. * Strong organizational skills and ability to balance short-term tasks with long-term projects. * Creative, hands-on problem-solving approach and ability to drive innovation. * Ability to travel domestically and overseas. Education & Certifications: * Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field (preferred). * MBA or advanced business experience is highly desirable.
